About Me
I’m a freelance web developer and designer with seven years of experience. I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and after a series of moves I now call Halifax, NS, my new crib. I specialize on creating sites using XHTML, CSS, SQL, PHP, AJAX and other technologies (CV). I like clean, modern and intuitive designs with a simplistic feel. I see each new project as a challenge different from the previous one; as an opportunity to improve and acquire new skills.
Guess what! I’m also a university professor. Currently, I teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses to computer science and non-computer science students at Dalhousie University. Each semester I encounter different questions that continuously allow me to appreciate web development from an entirely different perspective, one of the many reasons why I want to continue my academic career and obtain a PhD.
